2020 is year we all would love to forget but never will. While our lives all seemed to fall apart mid- March, Logan’s did New Year’s Day 2020 when he literally fell 2 stories from a balcony while on vacation with his family in the Dominican Republic.

He was lucky to escape inpatient before the pandemic hit but then was not left with many options to work on his recovery from a broken neck and C5/6 Spinal Cord Injury. Logan found NextStep Orlando on a Facebook support group and has made 2 trips from Pittsburgh [via the auto train!] in the past year. He feels that NextStep Orlando has helped him tremendously in and out of the gym. While his Activity Based Therapy sessions help him to get stronger physically, he’s also made friends here that have helped him heal emotionally.

Before the fall, Logan was an active college student working at Target. He’s always been very close with his family. They are his motivation to Never Give Up and become the best version of himself! He wants to continue his recovery program, lose weight and go back to school to become a nutritionist. Logan says “We’re not quitters up here in Pittsburgh” and we believe it!
