This past Sunday, our founder Liza and Co-Founder, her daughter, Amanda, were invited to be a guest at the Love Moves the World Gala by the founder of Chair the Love. Chair the Love is a licensed non-profit focused on providing equipment and services to people with mobility issues to help them regain their independence.

Located in Longwood, FL, Founder Glen helped organize events like the Hero Games to raise money that directly funded the Wheelchair Foundation’s work, long before Chair The Love was an actualized organization. Through distributions with local school systems and support for local hospitals, they have been able to support the community in Central Florida, as well as internationally. Partnerships with local groups such as the Rotary Club, the Center for Independent Living, Mobility City, and The Paralyzed Veterans of America further expand their impact.

We really enjoyed our night at the Country Club of Orlando and look forward to seeing how Chair the Love and NextStep Orlando can collaborate to make even a bigger difference in our community in the future!!
